Note from Anne

For years, I looked strong on the outside… faithful, dependable, always showing up.

But inside, I was quietly unraveling.

Even as a Christian, I carried the weight of fear, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and deep emotional
pain I didn’t know how to name. I suffered in silence, believing that if I just tried harder, I’d finally feel
free.

But I didn’t need to try harder, I needed to surrender.

And when I finally did?  God met me with healing I didn’t even know was possible.

One day at a time, He rewrote the lies I believed and reawakened the identity I had buried under years
of striving.

Today, I’m a Kingdom Christian Life Coach, Author, Blogger, Musician, and Freedom Facilitator. But
more than any title, I’m a woman who’s been set free by God’s grace, and I now walk daily in the
identity He gave me, not the labels I once lived under.

My journey hasn’t been easy.

For most of my life, I chased approval through performance, quietly breaking under the weight of
perfectionism, people-pleasing, and pain I didn’t know how to name.

In 2019, everything began to shift. I experienced a breakthrough through forgiveness; of others, of myself,

and of the past I had carried too long. Through that release, I discovered something deeper than relief.

I found restoration. I found God’s unconditional love, not as a concept, but as a healing presence I couldn’t deny.
That freedom didn’t come in a moment. It came one day at a time.

Through prayer, coaching, worship, and writing, I slowly began to rediscover who I was, not based on
what I did, but who God says I am. That identity was always there… I had just buried it under years of
striving.

In 2023, I said “yes” to God’s call in a whole new way, stepping away from a 50-year career in
accounting to pursue full-time ministry and faith-based coaching. It was bold. It was scary. And it was
the most life-giving yes, I’ve ever said.

Since then, I’ve guided Christian men and women through spiritual transitions, emotional exhaustion,
and identity confusion, helping them rediscover grace, rebuild confidence, and live free. Not by trying
harder, but by surrendering deeper.

I’m also a published author of two books, Where Faith Takes Flight: One Day at a Time, and my new
31-day devotional The Red-Letter Code: A 31-Day Journey: Unlocking the Blueprint to Your Identity in
Christ. I continue to share my journey on my blog, One Day at a Time, and worship through songwriting

and music, often with my guitar or piano, and always from a heart that’s been healed. Learn more
about me and discover more encouragement and practical tools for your walk of faith at my website:

When I’m not coaching or writing, you’ll probably find me walking and hiking on nature trails, or sitting
by the beach, anywhere I can pause and listen for God’s whispers in the stillness.
