Pause with me to imagine that first Christmas night. Shepherds startled in the fields by angels declaring peace on earth. A baby, sleeping quietly, carrying the weight of God’s promise never to stop pursuing us. Joseph and Mary wondering at God's redirection of their lives.
Every time I thought I had exhausted His grace, He poured out more. His relentless love found me right where I was–in the hidden basement I thought was too messy and too broken. And in His love, He offered me freedom. That’s the relentless love of Christmas.
