Walking in Faith, Purpose, and Peace

Walking in Faith Purpose and Peace Building a Kingdom-Focused Life and Business by Stefanie Gass

Life as a woman of faith is a beautiful calling, but it’s not without its challenges. Between the demands of family, work, and the responsibilities we carry, it’s easy to feel stretched thin, uncertain, or even disconnected from the purpose God has for us. I know this well, because before I fully surrendered my life and business to Him, I spent years chasing success on my own terms: striving, hustling, and trying to “do it all” in my own strength.

That journey left me burned out, spiritually depleted, and questioning whether I could truly honor God while pursuing my calling. It wasn’t until I made the radical choice to put God as my CEO—letting Him lead my life, my decisions, and my business—that everything began to shift. What seemed impossible became possible, not because of my effort, but because I stepped into obedience and trusted His blueprint for my life.

FAITH AND PURPOSE AT THE CENTER

Putting God in the CEO seat transforms the way we approach our daily lives, our families, and even our businesses. Every decision, from how we structure our day to how we interact with clients or co-workers, is guided by a higher purpose. For me, that meant rethinking what success looked like. Instead of chasing numbers, titles, or worldly validation, I focused on aligning my business with my calling: to equip and empower women to live fully in God’s plan.

This is the same principle I teach in my podcast, Online Business for Christian Women. Through faith-driven conversations, practical guidance, and real-world strategies, I help women grow businesses that glorify God, serve their communities, and honor their families. Podcasting has been a remarkable tool for this, allowing me to reach thousands of women with encouragement, practical tips, and God-centered inspiration... all from my home office.

BUILDING A KINGDOM-FOCUSED BUSINESS

Running a business with God at the center doesn’t mean it’s easy, but it does mean it’s sustainable, fulfilling, and impactful–by integrating His guidance into every part of my business. Whether creating content, developing offers, or mentoring students, I’ve seen firsthand how obedience produces fruit far beyond what I could plan on my own.

For example, I guide women through launching their own podcast-based businesses, helping them craft messages that connect deeply with their audience while maintaining balance at home. The results aren’t just financial. They’re relational, spiritual, and personal. Women who were once overwhelmed are discovering clarity, peace, and a sense of purpose in both their work and their personal lives. This approach aligns perfectly with the mission of The Sisterhood Magazine: nurturing the heart, body, and soul. A Kingdom-focused business is not just about revenue—it’s about creating a rhythm of life where faith, family, and work harmoniously coexist.

It’s about living intentionally, stewarding our gifts, and trusting God to lead the way.

FAITH, FAMILY, AND BALANCE

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that balance doesn’t happen by accident. It’s intentional, prayerful, and guided by God. I’ve discovered that when we put Him first, everything else falls into place:

• Family: Prioritizing relationships and setting boundaries protects our time and emotional energy.

• Health & Wellness: Our bodies are temples, and caring for them allows us to serve others with vitality and joy.

• Business: God-centered decisions create sustainable growth and influence, rather than stress and chaos.

Podcasting has been a particularly powerful way to live this out. It’s a ministry, a mentorship tool, and a business model all in one. Through long-form content, women can hear real stories of faith, learn actionable strategies, and be reminded that their calling matters... without the pressure of social media performance or constant comparison.

SHARING YOUR STORY FOR KINGDOM IMPACT

Perhaps the most transformative part of this journey has been learning the power of story. Every woman has a story, and every story has the potential to encourage, heal, and inspire. Sharing the raw, real moments of our lives–especially the seasons of struggle and surrender–creates connection and gives others hope.

When women step into their calling with God as their CEO, they not only experience personal growth but also create ripple effects in their communities. Whether it’s through coaching, podcasting, writing, or simply mentoring others in their circle, the influence of a life lived in alignment with God’s purpose is exponential.

ENCOURAGEMENT FOR EVERY WOMAN READING THIS

If you’re reading this and feeling unsure about your next step, know this: You don’t have to have it all figured out. God doesn’t call us to a perfect plan. He calls us to obedience. He invites us to surrender our ambitions, our timelines, and our fears, and to let Him guide the next step.

Whether that’s starting a business, launching a podcast, mentoring other women, or simply finding balance in your home and heart, the principle remains the same: Put God first, live with intention, and trust Him to multiply your efforts.

I encourage you to take one step today, whether it’s prayer, journaling, or sharing your story with someone else. That small act of obedience can be the beginning of a life and business that glorifies God, nurtures your family, and impacts the Kingdom in ways you cannot yet imagine.
