Note from Jenna

Hey Faith Friend,

If you have ever felt like you were doing your best to hold everything together, forcing a smile and saying, “I’m fine,” while quietly unraveling on the inside, I want you to know something deeply:

You are not alone.

I know what it is like to love the Lord and still feel fear trying to press in at the edges of your mind. I know what it is like to believe God’s Word is true and still have to remind yourself to reach for His Truth when life throws curveball after curveball so quickly that you can barely catch your breath.

My life changed in a before-and-after way when I went from being a cardiac nurse to becoming the patient.

I was diagnosed with a rare, incurable disease while both my boys were still in diapers. I walked through chemotherapy, countless appointments, painful procedures, unexpected complications, and eventually a stem cell transplant. There were moments when I did not know what the future would look like. There were moments when I had to fight fear not just once, but over and over again.

But I learned something in the middle of my hard that I want to share with you:

God is not only waiting for us on the other side of our difficult seasons. He is with us in it.

I believe joy is not just an emotion we hope arrives when life gets easier. Joy can become a trained spiritual response, a reflex formed through returning to God’s truth again and again. That truth became the heartbeat of The Joy Reflex™.

And maybe your hard has not been medical.

Maybe your hard looks like anxiety, depression, burnout, overwhelm, financial pressure, grief, family strain, relationship pain, motherhood exhaustion, or a season you never expected to walk through.

This is for you too.

Because everyone has their hard.

And you are not a failure in your faith because fear showed up. You are not weak because you have had to fight for peace. You are not forgotten because the story is still unfolding.

God is still near. His Word is still steady. His peace is still available. And even here, in the middle of what you did not choose, He can teach your heart to return to Him.

That is what I want to help you practice.

Not pretending everything is fine.

Not denying what hurts.

I believe you can build up your faith.

I believe you can choose peace in the middle of panic.

I believe joy can be trained as a reflex and outlast the hard things.

And I would be honored to walk with you as you train your heart to return to the One who has been holding you all along.

I’m so grateful to be here with you in The Sisterhood.

With love and joy,

Jenna Schutt
