Sisterhood Team.

The team behind The Sisterhood Magazine has come together prayerfully, united by one mission: to reach women across the globe with the love, hope, healing, and saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Through authentic stories, biblical truth, and practical encouragement, we desire to create a place where women can grow in their relationship with Jesus, find hope in difficult seasons, and experience the freedom and restoration only He can bring.

Isaiah 61:1 beautifully reflects the heart of our ministry: “He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”

At the heart of The Sisterhood Magazine are Cathy Mogler, Nancy Kurnik, and Mindy Walker, along with an extraordinary community of women who have answered the call to share their gifts and stories.

We have been incredibly blessed to feature more than 50 Contributing Authors, including Joyce Meyer, Sharon Jaynes, Tracie Miles, Jodi Harris, Susan Bolinger, and so many other gifted women who bring wisdom, authenticity, and faith to our pages.

We are equally grateful for our subscribers, readers, partners, and everyone who has supported this mission. You are helping us carry the message of Jesus to women near and far.

Ultimately, our desire is simple: to faithfully steward what God has entrusted to us and one day hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

We invite you to be part of The Sisterhood. Together, may we grow in faith, encourage one another, and share the goodness and faithfulness of God with women everywhere.

Cathy Mogler

Publisher, Founder & CEO

The Sisterhood Magazine, was a calling and idea Cathy conceptualized as a  source of hope and inspiration for women seeking God’s healing and purpose.

Though her early years were marked by challenges, Cathy’s story is a testament to the transformative
power of God’s love and grace.

Through her faith, Cathy discovered
that even life’s hardest moments can
be redeemed. God turned her pain
into a profound purpose, giving her
the courage to share her testimony and encourage others to trust His plan for their lives.

With a passion for storytelling and a
heart for ministry, Cathy created The
Sisterhood Magazine to offer women a place to find encouragement, wisdom, and community.

Her mission is to remind every woman that no matter where they’ve been, God’s love can heal, restore, and lead them to a life of purpose.

LeAnn Sheppard

Editor Professional Proofreader â€‹

Reading is something LeAnn has always enjoyed, as far back as she can remember. And proofreading is a skill she believes God has given her. The desire of her heart is to use this skill for His glory, helping bring people closer to Jesus through different avenues of godly Christian reading material.

Although LeAnn has been proofreading for years in various capacities, she decided to make it a career in the summer of 2022, after her youngest child (out of 8!) graduated from being homeschooled.

LeAnn loves the Lord with all her heart, and she thanks Him for this “new chapter” in her life as a proofreader. She always prays that God will lead her in the right direction, and she is thankful He “directed” her to Cathy and The Sisterhood Magazine!
