Tamika Williams is an impact builder, creative visionary, and advocate for women and girls who have experienced trauma. Born and raised in Washington, DC, she overcame early labels and low expectations to become a high-achieving student, graduating with a 3.85 GPA. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from National Bible College.

As the founder of Beautiful As I Am, a nonprofit launched during her undergraduate years, Tamika has created programs that support emotional wellness, life skills, literacy, mentoring, and confidence-building for women and girls. She also founded Poised Creatives, a purpose-driven business that provides creative strategy, outreach design, and educational programming for mission-driven organizations. Through both ventures, Tamika is committed to helping women and girls heal, grow, and move forward with purpose.
