Jessica Saieg

Answering a call to the nations, Jessica left behind comfort, security, and familiarity — including her job and car — to follow God into full-time missions. Alongside her 11-year-old son, she joined Youth With a Mission (YWAM), stepping into a life of faith-fueled adventure. From Poland to Thailand, South Korea to Vienna, she preached the gospel, witnessed miracles of provision, and saw lives touched — including her own. In a beautiful twist, the same son who led her to the Lord at age six would now preach alongside her.

Note from Jessica

Jessica Jo Saieg was born in the heart of New England — the beautiful state of New Hampshire. A nomadic childhood saw her living in 18 different states and attending six high schools before settling into her first apartment at just 16 years old. At 17, she made her way to Florida, where, at the age of 27, she had a radical encounter with God that changed the course of her life forever.

From that day forward — January 27th — Jessica’s life became a bold journey of faith. Deeply involved in church life, Bible studies, and outreach through a rave ministry, she also worked at Heavenly Beach on A1A in Fort Lauderdale. There, she witnessed lives transformed, prayed for strangers, and gave freely to missionaries, living each day as an act of worship.

In 2008, Jessica moved to Texas, trusting once again in God’s perfect timing. At 42, she met her incredible, godly husband — an Argentinian man whose passion for the Lord matched her own. Together, they’ve spent over a decade living and serving in Argentina, a land that has shaped her both spiritually and artistically.

It was under a bay leaf tree in Mendoza, Argentina — during the stillness of a pandemic lockdown — that Jessica discovered her gift for painting. What began as quiet moments with the Lord became Bay Leaf Tree & A Brush, a personal and spiritual art journey that continues to unfold with grace and beauty.

Today, Jessica paints one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by faith, nature, and the ever-unfolding story of redemption. Her art, like her life, is a testimony of hope, transformation, and the wonder of following God wherever He leads.
